PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush capable of allowing bristles to reach a small gap such as an interdental part and a cervical area and obtaining soft contact in use.SOLUTION: A plurality of bristle tufts are planted in the bristling base 1 of the toothbrush. At least partial bristle tufts constitute complex bristle tuft groups including: center bristle tufts (a) raised from a planting surface and a plurality of peripheral bristle tufts b which are planted to enclose the respective center tuft bundles (a) and gradiently extended from separated positions to respective positions touching the respective upper parts of the center bristle tufts.
