The present invention discloses a process for the synthesis of herbal bimetallic CuPd quantum dots (QDs). Herbal extract was used to synthesize one pot solvothermal method for synthesis of photosensitive bimetallic CuPd quantum dots. These quantum dots were tested against bacteria to study for its anti-microbial effects. These herbal bimetallic CuPd QDs were characterized by using TEM and EDS analysis to confirm composition.
