To provide an artificial lung device capable of decreasing a priming volume and manufacturing costs while easily and reliably removing bubbles.
SOLUTION: The artificial lung device 1 includes: a gas exchange part 20 for exchanging gas of fluid a discharge flow path 5 for guiding the fluid passing the gas exchange part 20 outside and a filter part 10 provided with a sheet filter member 2 for catching bubbles 11 in the fluid. The gas exchange part 20 includes a hollow fiber membrane 31 formed by a plurality of hollow fibers 31a that has hydrophobicity and air permeability. The hollow fiber membrane 31 is placed so that the fluid flows in contact with an outer surface of the hollow fibers 31a and exchanges gas between gas flowing in an inner cavity of the hollow fibers 31a and the fluid in contact with the outer surface of the hollow fibers 31a. In the filter part 10, the filter member 2 has a plurality of fold lines 3 and 4 and is placed so as to cover the discharge flow path 5.
