PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface sheet of an absorbent article excelling in liquid permeability and liquid return preventiveness.
SOLUTION: The surface sheet 1 of the absorbent article includes a multilayer structure formed by laminating an upper layer 2 forming a skin facing surface 1A, a hydrophobic middle layer 3, and a hydrophilic lower layer 4 forming an absorber facing surface 1B, in sequence. The middle layer 3 has a rupture elongation in the width direction of the absorptive article being 50-500% and a buckling strength in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article being 0.1-10 N. In the surface sheet 1, the skin facing surface 1A side is formed in recessed shape, and the absorber facing surface 1B side has a plurality of recessed parts 5 projected toward an absorber. The recessed part 5 is composed of a wall part 51 and a bottom part 52, and a part of the wall part 51 is formed with an opening 6 penetrating the wall part 51 in the thickness direction.
