PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display apparatus and mammography apparatus that are capable of improving image reading efficiency.SOLUTION: A medical image display apparatus according to an embodiment displays a tomographic image group of a pressed mamma. The medical image display apparatus includes a mammary gland amount calculation unit, a graph information generation unit, and a display control unit. The mammary gland amount calculation unit calculates a mammary gland amount for each tomographic image. The graph information generation unit creates graph information showing correspondence between a tomographic position and a mammary gland amount for each tomographic image. The display control unit displays a tomographic image and the graph information and displays a graph marker showing a tomographic position of the displayed tomographic image so that the marker is superposed on the graph information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
