PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester that enables maximum container loading in a compact space for machine body storage while ensuring easy movement on a placing table without causing trouble in getting-on/getting-off of an operation part according to handling of a container in which harvested vegetables are stored.SOLUTION: The root vegetable harvester includes: an operation panel (12) arranged at an already reaped side a pulling-out and conveying device (24) arranged at an unreaped side a conveying device (81) for selection a storage container placing table (97) for placing the container in which selected crops are stored and a storage table (103) for storing the container in a machine body side part. The storage table (103) is foldably configured in a range near the operation panel (12) and an auxiliary storing member (211) for receiving and placing the container is arranged in the front side of the storage table (103).
