The present invention relates to a method for making a melanogenesis inhibitor by use of extracts from Leucaena glauca (L.) benth, comprising the steps of preparing, cutting and drying Leucaena glauca (L.) benth, crushing the dried plant of Leucaena glauca (L.) benth, adding an alcohol solution into the dried plant for further crude extraction and obtainment of crude extracts therefrom, decompressing and condensing the crude extracts for further solution in an ethanol solvent, mixing and partitioning the ethanol solvent with hexane for obtainment of an ethanol fraction, adding water into the ethanol fraction for dilution purposes, adding ethyl acetate into the diluted ethanol fraction for further partitioning to obtain an ethyl acetate fraction, decompressing and condensing the ethyl acetate fraction for removal of solvents therefrom, and finally drying the decompressed and condensing ethyl acetate fraction for a melanogenesis inhibitor.本發明係有關於一種自銀合歡植物中萃取出含黑色素生成抑制劑之方法,係將銀合歡植物切段、乾燥,將乾燥銀合歡植物破碎,再以酒精溶劑進行粗萃取,減壓濃縮之後所得到的銀合歡粗萃取物再溶於乙醇溶液,依序與正己烷(hexane)進行混合、區分(partition),得到乙醇溶液分離物,接著再依序進行加入水、乙酸乙酯(ethyl acetate)、區分,以得到乙酸乙酯分離物,將得到之乙酸乙酯分離物進行減壓濃縮去除溶劑,於乾燥後,即得到萃取自銀合歡植物的天然含黑色素生成抑制劑。
