PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical sheet material of which the mechanical strength scarcely deteriorates even when getting wet with water and which has no risk of breakage even when once peeled off from a biological tissue and again stuck thereto in the case of being erroneously stuck thereto earlier, and to provide a production method of the medical sheet material.SOLUTION: A medical sheet material includes hyaluronic acid and carboxymethyl cellulose and has been subjected to crosslinking treatment, and water absorption of the medical sheet material is controlled to be 150-800%.
