The present invention encompasses canine parvovirus (CPV) vaccines or compositions (which can be vaccines or compositions comprising CPV virus-like particles (VLP)), methods of preparation and use thereof. The CPV VLP provided by the present invention is formed by the CPV VP2 protein.
