PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus enhanced in safety by preventing a litter from coming and going between a stretcher and a litter support base as a bathtub and the stretcher are in a semi-connection state.SOLUTION: A bathing apparatus includes: a stretcher capable of being connected to one or both of both bathtub edges facing to each other of a bathtub along a facing direction of both the bathtub edges after placing the bathtub and a litter, and allowing the litter to come and go between the bathtub and the stretcher at the time of bathtub connection connection members provided in one of the bathtub and the stretcher so as to connect the stretcher to the bathtub reception members provided in the other of the bathtub and the stretcher, and connected with the connection members and stretcher side litter detachment prevention means preventing the litter from being detached from the stretcher in a state that the stretcher and the bathtub are not connected.
