PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus which can prevent the skin dose of a patient from being locally concentrated while maintaining the conventional manipulation efficiency.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus 1 comprises: an imaging system which includes an X-ray generation part 14 for generating an X-ray and an X-ray detection part 15 for detecting the X-ray generated by the X-ray generation part 14 and passing through a subject, and images the subject a support part which supports the imaging system in a movable manner a transmission/reception part 20 which acquires information on the skin dose of the subject an irradiation range determination part 27 which determines the irradiation range of a movement destination on the basis of the skin dose of the subject and an imaging control part 28 which controls the support part so as to move the imaging system to the imaging position corresponding to the determined irradiation range of the movement destination.
