PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for replenishment of nursery boxes and method for replenishment of nursery boxes to solve a problem of difficulty in replenishment of nursery boxes to a conventional apparatus for supply of nursery boxes because the conventional apparatus is not configured to perform replenishment of nursery boxes.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, an apparatus for replenishment of nursery boxes comprises a nursery box supply device 10 for supplying nursery boxes one by one which is disposed at a position above the starting end portion of a dissemination transfer device 1 having transfer means for transferring a nursery box from a starting end portion to a terminating end portion. On a predetermined distance above the nursery box supply device 10, a device 15 for replenishment of a stacking nursery box group is provided, this device replenishing a stacking nursery box group D stacked in a plurality of stages in advance. On a rectangular upper frame 16 positioned on an upper frame 11 of the nursery box supply device 10, a plurality of support rollers 20 arranged side by side in the right and left direction is arranged in a manner that one pair thereof is disposed on the front and the other pair thereof is disposed on the rear such that it is switchable between a support position for exiting into the space 21 of an upper frame 16 and a retreat position for retreating from the space 21.
