PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid greening material of natural origin, with a low environmental burden and enabling the germination and growth of a plant thereon to be promoted, and to provide a method for slope greening.SOLUTION: A liquid greening material comprises: an aqueous solution of a chitosan concentration of 3,000-12,000 ppm seeds and a fertilizer, wherein the aqueous chitosan solution is subjected to neutralization treatment with a neutralizing agent.
