PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel immunostimulatory composition for stimulating immune response.SOLUTION: Immunostimulatory sequence-specific RNA oligonucleotides corresponding to 3' terminal sequences of single-stranded minus-sense RNA genomic RNAs are provided. Also provided are compositions and methods relating to an immunostimulatory 4-mer RNA motif provided as 5'-C/U-U-G/U-U-3'. Incorporation of this short RNA motif is sufficient enough to confer novel and modified immunostimulatory properties to novel and known oligonucleotides containing a CpG oligodeoxynucleotide. Also provided is a method for use of the immunostimulatory RNA oligonucleotide and DNA:RNA chimera oligonucleotide of the invention to induce immune response in vitro and in vivo, as well as to treat allergy, asthma, infection and cancer in subjects.【課題】免疫応答を刺激するための新規免疫刺激性組成物の提供。【解決手段】一本鎖のマイナス－センスＲＮＡゲノムＲＮＡの３’末端配列に相当する免疫刺激性の配列特異的なＲＮＡオリゴヌクレオチドであり、更に５’－Ｃ／Ｕ－Ｕ－Ｇ／Ｕ－Ｕ－３’として提供される免疫刺激性４マーＲＮＡモチーフに関連する組成物および方法を含む。この短いＲＮＡモチーフの組み込みは、ＣｐＧオリゴデオキシヌクレオチドを含む、新規および既存のオリゴヌクレオチドにおいて、新規のおよび変更された免疫刺激性特性を付与するのに十分である。また、インビトロおよびインビボにおいて免疫応答を誘導するため、そして被験体においてアレルギー、喘息、感染および癌を処置するための、本発明の免疫刺激性ＲＮＡオリゴヌクレオチドおよびＤＮＡ：ＲＮＡキメラオリゴヌクレオチドの使用のための方法も含む。【選択図】なし
