Process for the improvement and cultivation of stony soils. The invention relates to a device making it possible to bury on the spot the stones present in a soil according to decreasing diameters by screening the excavated materials until a cultivation layer of fine granulometry 5 is obtained on the surface. It consists of a tilling part 1 discharging onto an elevating conveyor band 2 delivering the previously tilled soil onto a vibrating and inclined screen 3. The screening part consists of grids 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d ensuring size separation; the advance of the device ensures the layering of the sizes by reverse screening. The device according to the invention is intended especially for the agricultural development of soils, the excessive granulometry of which impedes or prevents cultivation. <IMAGE>
