PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container-packed green tea beverage having reduced astringency, and enhanced deliciousness and rich taste.SOLUTION: The method for producing the container-packed tea beverage includes extracting raw tea leaves including Tencha of 10-90 wt.% with water at &le45°C to obtain an extract of the Tencha-containing tea leaves, and a step for carrying out the heat sterilization treatment of the extract.
