The present invention relates to a hybrid microbial fuel cell having a structure in which an anaerobic digester system is surrounded by a microbial fuel cell (MFC) reactor for simultaneously generating biogas and electricity while processing organic contaminants. The hybrid microbial fuel cell according to the present invention reprocesses treated water coming out through an anaerobic digestion tank in the MFC reactor, thereby increasing the processing rate of organic matter; and can generate biogas and electricity at the same time, thereby enabling useful industrial application.
