The disclosure relates to a method for producing agrochemical granules that contain an agrochemical active ingredient with a solubility in water of 60 ppm or greater, one or more types of hydrophobic substances with a melting point of 50 to 100 degrees Celsius, and an oil-absorbing substance that can be turned to powder. This method comprises (i) obtaining a mixture by mixing the agrochemical active ingredient, the one or more types of hydrophobic substances, and the oil-absorbing substance (ii) inserting the mixture into a kneading device, heating and kneading at a temperature equal to or greater than the melting point that is the highest of the hydrophobic substances and equal to or lower than 130 degrees Celsius, and then discharging from the kneading device at a temperature that is equal to or lower than the melting point that is the highest of the hydrophobic substances and equal to or higher than 60 degrees Celsius and a step (iii) granulating the kneaded product using an extrusion molding method. Steps (ii) and (iii) are performed consecutively. The agrochemical active ingredient may be nitenpyram, imidacloprid, acetamiprid, thiamethoxam, clothianidin, thiacloprid, and dinotefuran.
