PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately simulate electromagnetic field distribution and the behavior of minute particles by means of two-dimensional analysis in consideration of the three-dimensionally accumulated state of the minute particles, as to a system in which charged or magnetized minute particles exist in a dense state in a substantially two-dimensional electromagnetic field. SOLUTION: A method for simulating, in a two-dimensional surface, the behavior of charged or magnetized minute particles in an electromagnetic field, is characterized by defining a fictive collision radius aside from the physical radius of the minute particles in calculating the behavior of the minute particles and using this collision radius in determining the collision of the minute particles with another body. In calculating the behavior of the minute particles, a behavior analysis method for the minute particles defines a fictive collision radius aside from the physical radius of the minute particles and uses this collision radius in determining the collision of the minute particles with another body.
