PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tomography apparatus which can further reduce an artifact appearing in a tomogram image than a conventional technique.SOLUTION: An X-ray tomography apparatus includes a diffraction grating which forms a periodic pattern with an X-ray having transmitted a subject arithmetic means which calculates information on the subject on the basis of a detection result of a detector for detecting the X-ray, and a rotation and movement mechanism which rotates the subject so that X-rays are emitted to the subject from a plurality of angles and moves the subject so that the subject is removed from the visual field of the detector. The X-ray tomography apparatus acquires a reference projection image in a state where the subject does not exist by moving the subject so that the subject is removed from the visual field of the detector after imaging the subject, and acquires a subject projection image in a state where the subject exists, in a process for acquiring a plurality of subject projection images by operating the rotation and movement mechanism, calculates from the plurality of reference projection images a background image for background correction for correcting influence of uneven irradiation of an X-ray source and uneven sensitivity of the detector from the subject projection image with the arithmetic means, and calculates a subject tomogram image subjected to the background correction from the plurality of subject projection images and the background image.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来のものよりも断層像に現れるアーチファクトを低減することが可能なX線断層撮影装置を提供する。【解決手段】被検体を透過したX線より周期パターンを形成する回折格子と、X線を検出する検出器の検出結果に基づいて、被検体の情報を演算する演算手段と、被検体に複数の角度からX線を照射するように被検体を回転させ、被検体を検出器の視野から外れるように移動させる回転、移動機構と、を備え、回転、移動機構を作動させて、複数の被検体投影像を取得する過程で、被検体を撮影した後に、被検体を検出器の視野から外れるように移動させ、被検体のない状態で参照投影像を取得し、再び被検体のある状態の被検体投影像を取得し、演算手段により、被検体投影像からX線源の照射ムラや検出器の感度ムラの影響を補正する背景補正のための背景像を、複数の参照投影像より算出し、複数の被検体投影像と背景像から、背景補正された被検体断層像を算出する。【選択図】図2
