PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking means for an absorbent pad easily fitted again and having low risk of coming into contact with wearers skin.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper includes a leg periphery three-dimensional gathering 4 having a root part fixed to the surface of the diaper, a projecting part projected from the root part, lodging parts 4e fixedly formed on the surface of the diaper with the front and rear ends in the projecting part respectively put in the lodged state, an unfixed free part 4f located between the front and rear lodging parts 4e in the projecting part, and a gathering elastically flexible member fixed to at least the tip of the free part 4f in the state of being stretched in the longitudinal direction. A pad connecting part 20 formed by a hook material 9 is provided only in the vicinity of at least one of the front and rear lodge parts 4e in the inner surface of the free part 4f.
