A radiography aid and method of using the same comprising: attaching a radiographic reference device to the external fixation device, the radiographic reference device comprises at least two surfaces； positioning the first surface of the radiographic reference device on an imager surface to capture a first radiographic image of the external fixation device and the one or more objects； repositioning the external fixation device to position the second surface of the radiographic reference device on the imager surface to capture a second radiographic image of the external fixation device and the one or more objects that differs in position from the first radiographic image by the first angle； and calculating the position of the one or more objects in three dimensions.La présente invention concerne un auxiliaire de radiographie et son procédé d'utilisation consistant en : la fixation d'un dispositif de référence radiographique au dispositif externe de fixation, le dispositif de référence radiographique comprenant au moins deux surfaces ； le positionnement de la première surface du dispositif de référence radiographique sur une surface de dispositif d'imagerie afin de capturer une première image radiographique du dispositif externe de fixation et lesdits objets ； le repositionnement du dispositif externe de fixation pour positionner la seconde surface du dispositif de référence radiographique sur la surface de dispositif d'imagerie afin de capturer une seconde image radiographique du dispositif externe de fixation et lesdits objets qui diffèrent en position de la première image radiographique selon le premier angle ； et le calcul de la position desdits objets en trois dimensions.
