FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: leveling apparatus has frame and raking grid attached to frame. Raking grid is made in the form of toothed bar. Bar is composed of symmetrically arranged parts. Each symmetrical part is pivotally coupled to frame and mounted for rotation in horizontal plane. Teeth are arranged in two rows on bar. First row teeth are bent forward and second row teeth are bent rearward. Leveling apparatus has skids-limiters mounted on ends of symmetrical bar parts and adapted for limiting of teeth ends position with respect to field surface. Skids-limiters are arranged for adjustment of their position in vertical plane. Leveling apparatus provides for uniform leveling of windrow straw in roll spacing for subsequent embedding of straw in soil. EFFECT: increased efficiency in harvesting of non-grain part of yield and simplified construction. 4 cl, 2 dwg
