PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair that facilitates braking of wheels and releasing of the brakes and that can be comfortably used.SOLUTION: A first operation transmission 24 of the wheelchair 2 connects one brake device 18 and an auxiliary operation part 22. A second operation transmission 26 connects the other brake device 18 and the auxiliary operation part 22. The brake device 18 is made to make postural change possible between a braking posture for braking a wheel 8 and a releasing posture for not braking the wheel 8. The auxiliary operation part 22 is installed in one of the side frames 4.
