PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and a program, by which jaggies are reduced to generate highly reliable ultrasonic diagnostic image data.SOLUTION: An image generation part 14 generates sound ray data comprising a plurality of pixels, converted to brightness information representing brightness of an image from reception signals and extended in the distance direction. The image generation part 14 generates ultrasonic diagnostic image data by inserting interpolated pixels in between pixels arranged adjacently in the azimuth direction in the sound ray data. The image generation part 14 extracts a plurality of combinations of pixels in a symmetrical position relation centering on the interpolated pixels from the sound ray data arranged within the prescribed range in the azimuth direction from the interpolated pixels, calculates the difference of brightness for every combination of the extracted pixels, selects a plurality of pixels for the reference of interpolated calculation based on the calculated result, and carries out interpolated calculation on the plurality of selected pixels, to carry out an oblique line detection interpolation process to obtain the brightness of the interpolated pixels.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】ジャギーを低減して信頼性の高い超音波診断画像データを生成することができる超音波診断装置及びプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】画像生成部14は、受信信号から画像の輝度を示す輝度情報に変換した、距離方向に延びた複数の画素からなる音線データを生成する。そして、画像生成部14は、音線データにおいて方位方向に隣接配置される画素間に補間画素を挿入して超音波診断画像データを生成する。そして、画像生成部14は、補間画素から方位方向に所定範囲内に配置される音線データから、補間画素を中心として対称の位置関係にある画素の組合せを複数抽出し、抽出した画素の組合せ毎に輝度の差分を算出し、算出結果に基づいて補間演算の参照とする複数の画素を選択し、選択した複数の画素を補間演算して補間画素の輝度を得る斜め線検出補間処理を行う。【選択図】図2
