The eye compartment can exhibit reduced inflammation or IOP after administration of the drug delivery systems to a patient than if a drug delivery system including an uncoated particle were administered to the patient.La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés de traitement de troubles oculaires par administration dun système de délivrance de médicaments dans un compartiment oculaire du patient, le système de délivrance de médicaments contenant une particule contenant un cœur un revêtement associé à la particule, le revêtement étant associé de manière covalente ou non covalente à la particule et présentant une région hydrophile à lenvironnement autour de la particule et un agent thérapeutique. Après ladministration des systèmes de délivrance de médicaments à un patient, linflammation ou la pression intraoculaire dans le compartiment oculaire peuvent être réduites par rapport à un cas dans lequel le patient se verrait administrer un système de délivrance de médicament comprenant une particule non revêtue.
