PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing leakage from a gap generated around a leg and not interfering motion of the leg when the absorbent article is worn.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 comprises a leg absorption part 20 extending laterally from a lateral side part of a crotch part 11c of a diaper body 11 and covering a thigh of a wearer. The leg absorption part 20 includes: a leg body part 21 in which an absorber 213 is interposed between a liquid-permeable front face sheet 211 and a liquid-impermeable rear face sheet 212 a fixing part 22 provided on one end in a leg-circumferential direction of the leg body part 21 and a fixed part 23 allowing the fixing part 22 to be detachably fixed thereon on an outer face on the other end in a longitudinal direction of the leg body part 21. An easily-bendable part R extending in the leg-circumferential direction is provided in a central part of the absorber 213 from an edge on the crotch part 11c side to the other edge in the extention direction, the easily-bendable part R being easily bent due to non-presence of the absorber 213 or smaller thickness of the absorber 213 than other parts of the absorber 213.
