PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions containing as an active ingredient a magnesium compound used together for the excellent prevention or treatment of platinum-containing chemistry formulation-attributed renal dysfunction.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating renal dysfunction initiated by a platinum-containing chemistry formulation is disclosed.
