A multistage steam cooking device (200) that is provided with a multistage conveyor that while a noodle strip group that has been carried into a steam vessel main body part (2) makes a plurality of unidirectional back and forth trips transports the noodle strip group from a top stage of the steam vessel main body part (2) to a bottom stage. The multistage steam cooking device (200) also applies steam from a steam pipe (5) to the noodle strip group as the noodle strip group is transported along an upper stage part of the steam vessel main body part (2) and transports the noodle strip group to the bottom stage.
