PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing rear leakage in a state where a wearer lies on his/her back.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: a first bent portion 41 adjacent to an excretory orifice opposing region at a rear side of the excretory orifice opposing region and extending in a width direction； a second bent portion 42 located at a rear side of the first bent portion and extending in the width direction； and an intermediate region R3 located between the first bent portion and the second bent portion in a cross direction. The first bent portion and the second bent portion are configured such that the absorbent article is capable of being bent in a thickness direction. A basis weight of an absorbent material in the intermediate region is less than a basis weight of the absorbent material in the excretory orifice opposing region R1.
