Disclosed herein is an image processing device and method for image stabilization of an image signal input from an endoscope device including an objective lens provided at a distal end, the objective lens being disposed such that an optical axis of the objective lens and longitudinal axis of the objective lens intersect a predetermined angle, an endoscope head provided at a proximal end, and a gyro sensor provided on the endoscope head and to detect an angular velocity of movement of the endoscope head.
