An oil-based gel-like composition is formed from 70 to 99 wt% of an oil-phase component and 1-30 wt% of a gel-forming agent obtained by mixing polyglycerin having a degree of polymerization of 3 to 20, preferably 3 to 10, in an amount between [6.8 Ln(X) + 17] parts by weight and 27 Ln(X) parts by weight (where X is the degree of polymerization of the polyglycerin) per 100 parts by weight of lecithin.
