The lawn edging machine (100) has a cutting blade which rotates in a vertical plane, driven by a motor (21), with a guide device for guiding the cutting blade along the bed edge. The cutting blade is provided by a disc (23) with a number of peripherally spaced cutting edges, the guide device provided by a counter-blade (24) pressed against the disc by a spring (25). The edging machine is supported by a running wheel and a support wheel which are spaced apart transverse to the movement direction.
