The cutting head is constructed on a base (1), which carries a series of rotating cutting blades (5), which have axes of rotation (6), which are parallel to each other and are aligned in the same longitudinal plane. The blades are driven by a motor (8) through a transmission system (9, 10, 11), such that the cutting envelope extends beyond the front edge of the base. Extending from the front edge of the base are a series of fixed teeth (21 and 22), which extend just beyond the edge of the cutting circle.
