PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved means and a method integrating the GPS and a wireless communication system with a transportation apparatus system of a user for an operator of a transportation apparatus during operation to easily and safely make access to the GPS and the wireless communication system. SOLUTION: Data from the GPS and other navigation devices is transmitted over a digital data network for distributing data among various electronic apparatuses on the transportation apparatuses, desirably over an optical fiber network. Audio and data streams transmitted to a wireless network operating in the area of, for example, a WWAN, a WPAN, or a WLAN and received therefrom are distributed again over the optical fiber network to be used by apparatuses on the various transportation apparatuses.
