The present invention relates to a liposome formulation containing a therapeutic agent and a method for producing the formulation. Liposome formulations have certain properties that increase the uniformity and stability of the formulation. The manufacturing method is a novel method for producing a uniform-sized liposome formulation having many desired properties that can be independently controlled.
