Provided are a robotic arm and a robot for orthopedics, the robotic arm comprises a position adjusting member (100) having three degrees of freedom and a posture adjusting member (200) having at least two degrees of freedom connected to the position adjusting member (100). The position adjusting member (100) comprises a base member (1), a shoulder member (2), a large arm member (3) and a small arm member (5) connected in turn. The posture regulating member (200) comprises a wrist unit (6) and an instrument mounting seat member (7) connected in turn, and the small arm member (5) is connected to the wrist member (6). The position regulating member (100) and the posture regulating member (200) together constitute a series robot arm having at least five degrees of freedom. Each of the degrees of freedom may be adjusted according to the actual needs so as to meet the demand for the position and posture during an operation.
