PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging system in which the freedom of arrangement of a communication interface for transferring control signals between an apparatus in an imaging chamber and a controller outside the chamber is increased so as to have further improved convenience.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging system 1 includes an imaging chamber 10 electromagnetically shielded by a shield wall 11, for arranging a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus therein, an automatic injector 15 arranged inside the imaging chamber for injecting a liquid chemical to a patient, and a controller 21 arranged outside the imaging chamber, for controlling the operation of the injector 15.
