PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging system which increases a degree of freedom in the arrangement of a communication interface for transmitting and receiving a control signal between a device inside an imaging room and a controller outside the room, and further improves convenience.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging system 1 comprises: an imaging room 10 which is electromagnetically shielded with a shield wall 11 and in which a magnetic resonance imaging device is disposed； an automatic injection device 15 disposed inside the imaging room for injecting a liquid medicine into a patient； and a controller 21 arranged outside the imaging room for controlling the operation of the injection device 15. Communication between the injection device 15 and the controller 21 is performed through a communication interface 18.
