Disclosed is an apparatus and a method for measuring the alleviation of symptoms associated with skin diseases. The apparatus for measuring the alleviation of symptoms associated with skin diseases according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a color coordinate measuring unit which measures each color coordinate by recording a normal region and a lesion of the skin； and an improvement assessment unit which calculating the alleviating rate of the lesion by using the color coordinate change of the lesion based on the color coordinate of the normal region in a color coordinate system. The present invention can allow the treatment to suit symptoms of the skin diseases because a doctor objectively determines the alleviation of symptoms associated with skin diseases.피부질환 증상 개선 평가장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 피부질환 증상 개선 평가장치는, 피부의 정상 부분 및 질환 부분을 촬영하여 각각의 색좌표를 측정하는 색좌표 측정부； 와 색좌표계에서, 상기 정상 부분의 색좌표를 기준으로 상기 질환 부분의 색좌표 변화를 이용하여, 상기 질환 부분의 개선율을 산출하는 개선 평가부를 포함함으로써, 의사가 피부질환의 증상 개선을 객관적으로 판단할 수 있게 하여 피부질환의 증상에 맞게 치료를 할 수 있도록 해준다.
