An insect luring device with an insect counting function comprises an insect luring box, an attractant, a weight scale, and a processor. The attractant is disposed in the luring box for attracting a specific species of insects into the luring box. The weight scale is disposed in the luring box for measuring the weight of the specific species of insects in the luring box every other wake-up time. The processor calculates the number of the specific species of insects in the luring box according to the weight measured at each of the above-described time points, and a death time, a drying time, an average dry insect weight and an average live insect weight of the specific species of insects.
