PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milk beverage suppressing deposition by a floating matter or solid matter of a lipid content derived from a milk component, which deteriorates the appearance of the milk beverage containing milk and good in drinking feeling, a manufacturing method therefor, further a method of inhibiting syneresis of the milk beverage, floatation of milk lipid content and deposition of milk solid content.SOLUTION: There is provided a milk beverage containing (A) milk, (B) agar, (C) one or more kind of emulsifier selected from glycerine, glycerine fatty acid ester, sorbitan fatty acid ester, propylene glycol fatty acid ester, sucrose fatty acid ester, gum arabic, polyglyceryl fatty acid ester and lecithin and having the milk solid content of 3 to 10 wt.%, milk lipid content of 0.01 to 2 mass% and pH of 4.6 or less.
