PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing soybean oil and soy sauce for simplifying an extraction process and a refining process in soybean oil production processes, obtaining at high yield soybean flavored oil having favorable flavor peculiar to soybean, and efficiently producing soy sauce using oil pressed soybeans having less oil content as the raw material. SOLUTION: This method for producing the soybean oil and soy sauce comprises a process of heat treating soybeans with superheated steam at 145-190°C, a process of separating steam from the heat-treated soybeans followed by swelling, and a process of press-treating the swollen soybeans to obtain soybean pressed oil and oil pressed soybeans. The method for producing the soybean oil further comprises a process of degumming treating the soybean pressed oil, and the method for producing the soy sauce further comprises a process of treating such as malt production using the oil pressed soybeans as the raw material.
