PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooking method for changing a heating temperature of an upper part and a lower part of a rice cooking container, and performing rice cooking easily and efficiently.SOLUTION: A rice cooker 1 includes a rice cooking container 10, a conveyance device 20, a heat cooking part 30, a supply part 50, a take-out part 60, and a cleaning part 70. The heat cooking part 30 includes a heat cooking chamber 33, and the heat cooking chamber 33 includes a heating part 36, a boiling maintaining part 37 continuous from the heating part 36, and a steaming part 38 continuous from the boiling maintaining part 37. The heating part 36 includes a first heating part 36a and a second heating part 36b. The heating part 36 and the boiling maintaining part 37 are provided with a plurality of heaters 41 and superheated steam nozzles 42 capable of setting heating temperatures independently in an upper part and a lower part of the rice cooking container 10.
