PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grip structure of a fishing rod capable of reducing pain and oppressive feeling of palm of the hand in a case having a grip for a long time.SOLUTION: The grip structure of the fishing rod is obtained by attaching and fixing a core material 3 made of an urethane rubber to the outer peripheral surface of a rod material 1A and attaching a covering body 4 obtained by braiding a cord material 4A in which a resin fiber 4a is combined with the outer peripheral surface of the core material 3 to the outer peripheral surface of the core material 3.
