PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly carry out a mounting operation of a mounting device of bird damage preventing device constituted of a plurality of support members attached to an electric wire at intervals and wires hung among the plurality of the support members.
SOLUTION: The mounting device includes an electric wire storage pipe 110 slidable along the electric wire 1, a pipe 130 gripped by a grip part, and a wire storage part 140 for storing the wire 40. A step for attaching the mounting device 100 in which the plurality of the wire support members 20 are fixed to the pipe 130 by gripping of the grip part in which the wire 40 for connecting each of the wire support members 20 is stored in the wire storage part 140, to the electric wire 1, then gripping the electric wire 1 by the grip part and fixing the wire support members 20 to the electric wire 1, and a step for sliding the mounting device 100 along the electric wire 1 are repeated.
