PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod by which the transmission of strike is improved by devising a member for forming a grip.
SOLUTION: The fishing rod is constituted by forming a gripping part 4 by attaching a covering body so as to be outserted on a rod material 1. The covering body is constituted of a gripping body part 2A and a transmission body part 2B harder than the gripping body part 2A. The inner terminal of the transmission body 2B is brought into contact with the rod material 1, and the outer terminal of the transmission body part 2B is arranged in a flush state with the outer periphery of the grip body part 2A.
