A patient interface includes a body portion configured to communicate with atleast one fluid path, and at least one nostril interface extending from the bodyportion. The nostril interface includes an insertion portion configured tobe inserted into a nostril of a patient and to be in communication with the at leastone fluid path. In an embodiment, the insertion portion includes a pluralityof laterally directed openings configured to communicate fluid between thefluid path and the nostril. The patient interface also includes a seal portionthat is constructed and arranged to provide a seal between the patient interfaceand the nostril.
