PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiotherapy cage which secures safety at whole rotation angles and also has high economic efficiency, reliability, and maintenance property.SOLUTION: The radiotherapy cage includes as a characteristic configuration, a pair of sliders 4 for slidably connecting an irradiation nozzle 5 and movable floor groups 2A, 2B in the direction of a diameter of a rotating gantry. The sliders 4 are automatically operated linked with the rotation angle of the irradiation nozzle 5. The irradiation nozzle 5 has a tapered shape toward the rotation center of the rotating gantry 1 and has inclined side surfaces. Thus, the length of an opening 3 between the movable floor groups 2A, 2B is kept to be very short. The safety is secured by a simple system which does not require a driving device 106 and controller 107 of conventional technique. Consequently, the economic efficiency, reliability, maintenance property and workability are improved.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】全ての回転角度において安全性を確保するとともに、経済性、信頼性、保守性の高い放射線治療ケージを提供する。【解決手段】放射線治療ケージは、特徴的構成として、放射線照射ノズル5と移動床群2A,2Bの端部とを、回転ガントリー径方向にスライド自在に接続する1対のスライダー4を備える。放射線照射ノズル5の回転角度に連動してスライダー4が自動的に動作する。また、放射線照射ノズル5は、回転ガントリー1の回転中心に向かって先細り形状をしており、傾斜した側面を有する。これにより、移動床群2A,2Bの間の開口3の長さは微小長さに維持される。従来技術にかかる駆動装置106や制御装置107を必要としない簡素なシステムにより、安全性は確保される。その結果、経済性、信頼性、保守性、作業性が向上する。【選択図】図1
