PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged particle radiation irradiation apparatus with high maintainability.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a proton therapy apparatus 10 for irradiating an object to be irradiated with charged particle radiation. The proton therapy apparatus 10 includes: a cyclotron 2 for accelerating charged particles and emitting charged particle radiation an irradiation nozzle 11 for irradiating the object to be irradiated with the charged particle radiation a transportation line 3 connecting the cyclotron 2 and the irradiation nozzle 11 a gantry 12 in which the irradiation nozzle 11 is disposed to support the transportation line 3, and which can be rotated or oscillated around a prescribed center axis P and X-ray equipment 60 having an X-ray irradiation section 61 and an X-ray detection section 62 for obtaining an X-ray image of the object to be irradiated.
